The fire damper is a type of temperature control using memory alloy, which closes in the form of a valve utilizing gravity and spring mechanisms. New products also use the deformation of memory alloy to close the valve.
Its function is: when the smoke temperature reaches 280℃, people have basically evacuated, and smoke extraction is no longer meaningful. At this time, the smoke carries fire, and the valve automatically closes to prevent the spread of fire.
The fire damper is a normally closed valve, which can be opened by a control center using 24V DC power or manually. It automatically closes at 280℃, and the reset must be manual. Its function is: when the smoke temperature reaches 280℃, people have basically evacuated, and smoke extraction is no longer meaningful. At this time, the smoke carries fire, and the valve automatically closes to prevent the spread of fire. The system's smoke extraction outlet can also use a normally closed fire smoke outlet, eliminating the need for a smoke fire damper on the branch pipe. During a fire, this outlet is opened by the control center using 24V DC power or manually, and automatically closes when the smoke temperature reaches 280℃, with the reset also requiring manual action. A fire smoke damper should also be installed at the entrance of the smoke extraction fan room to prevent the fire from spreading to the floor where the fan room is located.
