When a fire occurs and the gas temperature in the duct system reaches 70°C, the valve automatically closes to prevent the spread of high-temperature gases through the duct during a fire. Smoke exhaust fire dampers are installed in the ducts of mechanical smoke exhaust systems. When a fire occurs and the smoke temperature in the duct reaches 280°C, the valve automatically closes.

　　Smoke exhaust valves are installed in the ducts of mechanical smoke exhaust systems. They can be manually or electrically opened to exhaust smoke during a fire.
